District Administration reviews arrangements for Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) | KNO

KISHTWAR, NOVEMBER 28 (KNO) : District Administration convened a meeting to review the arrangements of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) here today. Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishori Lal Sharma chaired the meeting. The meeting was attended by Additional Superintendent of Police Pardeep Parihar, Chief Planning Officer Yasir Balwan, Chief Medical Officer, XEN PHE, XEN PDD, ARTO beside other officers of CAPD, Traffic, Information, Drug and food safety, Fire and Emergency Services, Municipal Committee, Sheep and member of Auqaf Islamia/Majlis Shora Committee attend the meeting. Taking note of the arrangements made, ADC directed the Executive Engineer PDD to ensure un-interrupted power supply on November 30 and December 01. Executive Engineer PHE was asked to ensure availability of water supply to the town. Municipal Department was directed to ensure cleanness of the town besides health department was directed to deploy one ambulance to move along the procession. Fire and Emergency department were directed to make fire tenders available to counter any exigency. ARTO and DTI were asked to regulate the traffic system so that Eid procession can move smoothly. Other arrangements regarding security, law and order, were also deliberated upon. ADC enjoined upon all the officers to work in close coordination and make coordinated efforts to make the event successful.(KNO)
